I love my Nan...

Me:
*Rings Nan* Hi did you ring me?
Nan:
Right..i've put my DVD in...
Me:
Ahaa *remembering the last time she put a DVD in she put it picture down then told me it wasn't working*
Nan:
I've got to this menu screen, 'Play', 'Scenes', 'Setup' there's a little star next to the word play...
Me:
Yeah that just means-
Nan:
I couldn't find the star on my remote, so i pressed the enter button in the middle...
Me:
:') ...Alright good..
Nan:
it just takes me back off to the start of the DVD and the adverts...
Me:
*Makes sure she is in fact using the correct remote and she puts the DVD in again* Okay so if 'enter' isn't working do you have a play button?
Nan:
Ermm..i can't see one i've got *continues to list buttons on the ENTIRE remote, including "two little stripes" "a little square" "some arrows pointing left and right"*
Me:
*giggle* Okay then..
Nan:
Ohh here come the adverts, seen this ~four times now! *laughs*
Me:
Okay Nan remember those arrows you were talking about, press the one with the two little arrows facing to your right...
Nan:
Right..okay..............ohhh it's going to the menu now! *Then tells me everything happening on the TV before it does and then we look for "a little triangle pointing right" but it can't be found*
Me:
Okay so, if you can't find it on there..do you have that button on your DVD player?
Nan:
Oh..hold on..i'll have to get on my knees..
Me:
Alright :') *hears distant sounds of Nan looking for a button and then being struck by cramp*
Nan:
*Returns to phone* Ow...*laughs*
Me:
You okay there? Did you find it?
Nan:
No i can't see it..what if i press.........Oh..it's gone back to the start again..
Me:
Oh man...

My walk around the shops the other day was such an accurate portrayal of my whole life....

Me:
*walks past a line of pretty clothes shops* Oh...that's some nice stuff...it would never suit me and i feel so under-dressed i can't even walk into that shop and look around omg i'd be so out of place....
Me:
*walks into shop full of various beauty products* *just goes to the food section in the corner* Ohh..there's a bit of a queue..i'm too lazy to wait....
Me:
*walks into shop that sells laptops and other technology* *shop is playing the backstreet boys* *feels at home* ...this is better...
Me:
*goes back into shop having decided i do actually want the food*
Me:
*just sits on a bench like a loner eating food and taking photos of the crisp packet to tweet along with all the others parts of my interesting life*
Me:
*walks past another clothes shop* it just seems so posh....i don't think i can go in...and that shop attendant by the door might want to talk to me....making my out-of-place-ness even more obvious...
Me:
*walks into games shop* *is the only person in there* *stand in corner playing on various consoles and getting really excited when i complete a level* :D!!

Something i didn’t even think about…

So i love Fred and George, obviously, that much is clear.

I’m talking to my Nan today and i ask her if she’s watched any 9/11 documentaries on the TV as there’s a lot on at the moment of course and i was saying how i watched a bit of one the other day.

She said she hadn’t seen any because they were too sad, but she saw something about twins or something.

I told her i didn’t know what she was talking about as i havent seen many of the things on TV…

I don’t know how accurate this information is because my Nan doesn’t always make a lot of sense but the more i think about it the more it seems probable.

She told me something like 40 sets of twins lost there other half…..

This is something i hadn’t even considered before and especially after the whole…Harry Potter..Fred and George thing this information hit home suprisingly hard for me…because i hadn’t even thought about it…

Really really sad :(

Thoughts go out to everyone affected by the disaster! I can’t believe it’s been 10 years already <3

haha yeah..

You wished..to see me...headmaster...
Me:
Clearly snape took the time to get dressed before he came here...
Dad:
Mhmmm
Me:
What do you think he wears to bed? Thats a weird thought...just some sweats...throw on a tshirt?

Me: -Halfway through eating tea- Dad..did i tell you i decided what my patronus would be?

Dad: *Looks fairly interested* No?

Me: Giraffe.

Dad: ……….*genuinely laughs in my face*

Me: I know….but i think it’s interesting xD

Dad: I’ve never thought about…big animals being a patronus….

Me: *takes mouthful of food* no me neither…

Dad: ….lets have a…WHALE as a patronus!

Me: *almost chokes on food* HAHAHAHAHAHA!!

#What comes from being a cat person…

Cat pops up out of nowhere for attention i am beyond used to it and depending which of my cats it is..i’m either very nice and friendly..grab hold of them and pin them against me so they can’t move [always in a friendly way..i would never be nasty to my mini bezzie’s!]…or just poke them at which point they roll over and look at me like “..you poke me? o.O..then i roll and be cuuuteeeee”

When my friends are round and my cat just pops up out of nowhere for attention they almost jump out of their skin and my cat just looks at them like “..woah maaan…unnecessary?” ..well either that or just run off immediately..

Maybe i should start warning my friends when they’re appearing xD
